Career Criminal Facing 40 Years In Prison Found Not Guilty

A career criminal who had just been released after completing a 14 year prison sentence for attempted murder and armed robbery in Miami was arrested after a robbery detective found a black mask, gloves, and a loaded gun in his car during a routine traffic stop at night. The defendant was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a concealed firearm. Because of our client's violent past, he was facing 40 years in state prison. DMT worked extremely hard to prepare the case for trial by inspecting the scene of the stop, canvassed the area for witnesses, and deposed the robbery detectives involved in the arrest.
