Client Wins at Trial in Federal Cocaine Trafficking Case

Our client had previously been arrested in Miami, Florida for armed cocaine trafficking. The cocaine transaction occurred in Coral Gables in a warehouse on video. Due to the strength of the case, the defendant entered in a cooperation contract with the Coral Gables Police Department and Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office. Our client got caught up in a federal cocaine trafficking investigation. The feds indicted our client for conspiracy to traffic in cocaine. After a week long trial, the Miami defense lawyers at DMT obtained an acquittal in the case. Our defense strategy relied on the fact that our client was merely setting up drug deals pursuant to his contract.
